Privacy Policy
kitto works distinguishes data entered into a tool from access information processed to deliver the Site, and handles only the information that is needed.

1. Scope and controller
This Policy applies to information handled through kitto works (the “Site”). The operator of kitto works is responsible for that information.

2. Data entered into tools
As a general rule, the Site’s tools process input in your browser and do not send it to the Site’s server. Every tool currently published on the Site uses browser-only processing.
If a future tool needs a server or external API, its page will explain, before you use it, what is sent, where it is sent, why it is used, and what is not sent.
3. Access information processed automatically
The Site uses Cloudflare for delivery, caching, incident response, and protection against abusive access. In that process, Cloudflare may handle IP addresses, requested URLs, referring pages, timestamps, browser and device information, routing data, and security-related information.
The Site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, referrers, country or region, browser information, and page performance. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage for analytics and does not fingerprint people for tracking.
The Site does not use Google Analytics.
4. Storage on your device
The Site stores a setting in localStorage on your device to remember your light or dark theme. This setting is not sent to the Site.
The Site does not set cookies for analytics. Cloudflare may, however, set cookies that are strictly necessary to provide security or network services.
5. Information received when you contact us
If you contact the Site, we may handle your sending account, any name or contact details you provide, the content of your message, and the history of our response.
We use that information to respond, verify identity when needed, prevent abuse, improve support quality, and meet legal obligations. If you contact us through an external service, that service’s policy also applies.
6. Purposes of use
Information handled by the Site is used for the following purposes:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the Site and its tools
- Aggregating and analyzing usage and page-performance information
- Detecting and responding to outages, abusive access, and security issues
- Responding to inquiries and maintaining response records
- Complying with lawful requests from regulators, courts, or other authorities
7. Service providers, international processing, and disclosure
The Site uses Cloudflare as a service provider for delivery, security, and analytics. Information may be processed through Cloudflare’s global infrastructure.
The operator does not sell personal data or disclose it to a third party without consent, except where required by law, needed to protect life, physical safety, or property, or otherwise permitted by law to protect the Site’s rights and safety. Service providers may handle only the information needed for the relevant purpose.
8. External links, advertising, and affiliate links
When you open an external link, standard request information such as your IP address, referrer, and browser information may be sent to the destination. Review the destination provider’s privacy policy for details.
Before introducing advertising that uses cookies or other identifiers, the Site will update this Policy and provide any notice or consent mechanism required by applicable law or the advertising service. Affiliate links may include identifiers used to attribute a referral.
9. Retention and security
For browser-only tools, the operator does not retain data entered into the tool. Access information and correspondence are retained only as long as needed in light of the purpose, security requirements, service settings, and legal obligations.
The operator uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled, including access controls, encrypted communications, and appropriate configuration of service providers.
10. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may be entitled to request notice of purpose, access, correction, deletion, restriction of use, or restriction of disclosure for personal information about you that the operator retains.
The operator will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law. For tool input that is processed only in your browser and is not retained by the operator, there is no stored copy for the operator to access or delete.
11. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated when the Site’s features, service providers, or applicable laws change. Material changes will be announced on this page or by another appropriate method, together with the effective date.
