Image Resizer

Resize images by exact pixel size or by percentage. Enter just one dimension to keep the aspect ratio, or resize a batch of files at once and download them all as a ZIP. Completely free, and everything runs in your browser, so your images are never sent anywhere.

Supports PNG, JPEG, WebP, and more (up to 15MB per file).

When enabled, enter either width or height (if both are filled in, width takes priority).

The images you upload are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent anywhere. No external service is used to resize images.

    Results

Select an image and select Resize.

    How to use

    1. Select the image files you want to resize (multiple allowed).
    2. Enter the target size in pixels or as a percentage.
    3. Select Resize to process the files, then download the result.

    How it works

    Resize modes

    By pixels

Enter the width and height in pixels directly. With "Keep aspect ratio" enabled, you only need to fill in one of width or height — the other is calculated automatically from the original image's aspect ratio (if both are filled in, width takes priority). With it disabled, the image is stretched to exactly the width and height you enter.

    By percentage

Enter a scale as a percentage of the original size. 50 means half size, 200 means double size. Percentage mode always preserves the aspect ratio.

    Output format

If the source image is JPEG, the output stays JPEG. Otherwise (PNG, WebP, etc.) it's converted to PNG. This default preserves transparency while avoiding re-compression artifacts from JPEG.

    File names

The output file name is the original file name, minus its extension, with -resized appended (e.g. photo.jpgphoto-resized.jpg).

    Batch processing

When you select multiple image files, the same resize settings are applied to every file. A single file downloads directly; multiple files are bundled into one ZIP for download.

    What gets sent anywhere

Decoding, resizing, encoding, and ZIP compression all happen entirely in your browser. The images you upload are never sent to a server or external service.

    FAQ

Is the image I upload sent anywhere?

No. Everything from resizing to building the ZIP happens entirely in your browser. Your images are never sent to any external server.

Can I resize while keeping the aspect ratio?

Yes. In pixel mode, keep "Keep aspect ratio" enabled and fill in just width or height — the other dimension is calculated automatically from the original image. Percentage mode always preserves the aspect ratio.

Can I resize multiple images at once?

Yes. Select multiple files and the same settings are applied to all of them; the results are bundled into a ZIP file for download.

Can I choose the output file format?

JPEG source images stay JPEG; everything else (PNG, WebP, etc.) is converted to PNG. This format is fixed and can't be changed manually.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes, 15MB per file. Files larger than that will show an error.
